February is filled with health awareness dates and holidays. Developing a social media strategy to keep up can feel overwhelming, so we’ve done some of the heavy lifting for you. We put together some social posts to help you keep your pharmacy’s social media pages fresh and organic.
Tip: Try posting additional information along with these social posts. Not only will you keep your social media pages current, but you will also add immense educational value for your patients.
American Heart Month
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Help bring awareness to heart disease by providing prevention suggestions and tips, such as getting regular exercise, eating a healthy diet and managing stress.
World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day, on Feb. 4, is a global initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). This year’s theme is “I Am and I Will.” Make your commitment to act and educate your patients about preventive measures. You can help save lives by raising awareness and providing education about the global cancer epidemic.
National Wear Red Day
This year, National Wear Red Day falls on Feb. 7. Help spread awareness about women’s heart health by wearing your favorite red item and sharing the signs of a heart attack or stroke with your patients.
Feb. 14 is Valentine’s Day. In the spirit of the holiday, you can use our downloadable social post to promote in-store seasonal items or simply to spread some love to your patients.
Feb. 17 is Presidents Day. On the third Monday of every February, we take the time to celebrate all the presidents of the United States. Pair this downloadable social post with an in-store holiday promotion.
