Prescription Refill Tool

Patients can request prescription refills straight from your healthsite or branded mobile app. A “Refill” button on both platforms allows patients to log in securely and submit a request with their Rx number and ideal pick up method. If your PMS is integrated with our digital suite, we automatically send all refills from the healthsite or mobile app directly to your queue. If it isn’t, all refill requests are securely faxed to your location. Have multiple locations? We can set up a preferred location option for either, or both, platforms so patients can save their choice.

Medication Search and Coupon Database

Save time and add value while educating your patients about their medication. Each healthsite comes equipped with a health database page that allows patients to search medication by name and help them identify pills by color, imprint, shape, and scoring to keep them up-to-date on their prescriptions. We’ve also created an Rx Coupon Database of manufacturer coupons so patients can save on brand name prescriptions. Both databases can also be found on the mobile app.

Health News Platform

We also offer unique access to our health news resource, updated daily with new articles. Written by one of our staff pharmacists, they cover everything from seasonal allergies to recent healthcare discoveries. We populate thousands of articles on your healthsite and branded mobile app for existing and potential patients, and encourage you to post them on your pharmacy social media pages. A selection of these articles also makes up the weekly customizable newsletter that you can send to your patients each week.

In-Depth Reporting

We help you keep track of your progress and ours. Your pharmacy experience dashboard gives you access to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for all prescription refills that come through your healthsite and mobile app. Other analytics that we keep an eye on for you include all website visits and newsletter signups and who is opening and reading your newsletter. You can also track how many people have downloaded your app through the Apple and Google Play stores.

Patient Portal

Our healthsite portal allows patients to set up individual profiles for themselves and their family members. Within the portal, they can create and build personal refill lists and manage the refills and transfers of all profiles on their account. They’re also able to set reminders to take their prescriptions, order refills, and schedule appointments, simplifying medication adherence.

If they have downloaded your mobile app, they can view and manage saved patient profiles directly from the app.

We currently offer six non-enterprise healthsite templates as well as unique options for our enterprise pharmacy clients. Each template contains pages for pharmacy contact and location information, prescription refills and transfers, a patient portal, a text-to-download mobile app, curated health resources, and more. We also offer a list of content pages you can select based on common pharmacy offerings. Our mobile responsive design allows you to customize your business information and branding, add or change promotions, text, and pages, and even adjust your full website layout once a year.

Google Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Our healthsites provide your pharmacy with visibility on Google, increasing the number of searches you appear in and the amount of traffic to your healthsite. Each site page is optimized and includes meta tags, headings, descriptions, and keywords. New Patient Self-Service and Management

The patient portal on our healthsite also simplifies new patient additions and transfers. Healthsite visitors can select the ‘Transfer’ or ‘New Patient’ button on the homepage to create a new account. They’re then prompted to complete a form with personal and medical information. Once the form is complete, we pass it straight on to you, either through your PMS queue if you are integrated with us, or via secure fax to your location.

Custom Configurable Features

If you opt for a branded version of our mobile app and your PMS is eligible for integration, you can choose what patients see as they manage their prescriptions. Add business information like your hours, email address, and phone number. Personalize your patients’ experience with your pharmacy logo and custom color scheme. When patients download the app online and search for your location, their version will be automatically configured to your business and brand settings.

Secure App Messaging

This new feature gives patients the ability to message their pharmacy seamlessly through the app. Patients who opt-in to receive secure messages from you will be redirected to the app if they have it downloaded. When they open the app, they get access to our secure platform via their own app inbox. This feature also lets them use their phones’ cameras to scan prescription barcodes and upload images, enabling them to contact you and refill prescriptions all in one place.

Family Sharing and Management

The Digital Pharmacist mobile app has family sharing capability. That means multiple individual profiles, and their prescriptions, can be managed through the app on a single account. This is a popular feature for nurses and caregivers with many patients to support. Our Order History icon on the refill tab makes it easy for patients and profile managers to see all prescription orders and refills, their Rx numbers, and when the orders were placed. When an order is selected, they can even review further details including medications and delivery method.
