Secure and HIPAA-compliant

Our HIPAA-compliant platform allows you to connect with patients safely and prevent unintentional violations by securing protected health information (PHI). A data-encrypted system prevents messages from being hacked and tells you whether the phone numbers you have for patients are cell phones or landlines. Patients can access secure 2-way messaging through your branded mobile app or phone and have to verify their identity and grant HIPAA consent before they can see or respond to messages.

Multi-Platform Access and Management

Secure 2-way messaging offers multiple points of secure contact for you and your patients’ convenience. Our pharmacy experience dashboard helps you safely import information individually or through your PMS. You can also bulk upload information to create patient profiles. You can log in from any connected computer in-store to send and receive messages through your inbox and opt for browser or email notifications to alert you of new messages. Patients can also choose to send a message straight from their phone or download your branded mobile app.

Customizable Messaging Templates

Our selection of pre-populated templates gives you messaging options for a range of everyday scenarios, from prescription refills to requests for insurance information. If you have seasonal hours or offerings throughout the year, you can also create your own unique templates. When you aren’t using them, you can simply deactivate the templates in your pharmacy experience dashboard and save them for later.

Multimedia Sharing: Images, Emojis, and GIFs

Secure 2-way messaging supports image-sharing, allowing you and your patients to upload, send, and receive pictures. Share important information like updated insurance cards or images of prescription bottles to simplify communication even more. You can also send and receive a range of specially-selected emojis and GIFs for an added personal touch. This new feature has been a hit with patients since its launch in October 2019 and has grown in popularity as we added the ability for pharmacists to send their own emojis and GIFs in the beginning of 2020.
