Social Media Content Ideas You Can Use Today

Coming up with holiday social media content for your pharmacy can feel overwhelming, especially because this is one of the busiest times of the year. As part of our effort to equip you with the tools to market your pharmacy, we’ve collected some ideas that you can use in your social media posts for this month.

Movember

Movember started in 2003 as a small effort to bring the mustache back. Today, Movember is known as a global movement (over 5 million Mo Bros and Sistas). Movember is both a movement and a foundation with the mission of “changing the face of men’s health” by addressing prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help bring awareness by posting an image of a mustache or an educational article on your social channels.

Diabetes Awareness Month

November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Help bring awareness to both type 1 and type 2 diabetes by posting an educational article on your social channels. Another idea is to post a picture of your diabetes supply aisle and let your followers know what your store has to offer.

Small Business Saturday

This year, Small Business Saturday falls on Saturday, Nov. 30, which is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This weekend is considered one of the busiest — if not the busiest — shopping periods of the year. Promote a discount on your social channels. This will help drive foot traffic to your pharmacy on Small Business Saturday.

Lung Cancer Awareness Month

November is also Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Help bring awareness to the disease by posting an educational article on your social channels. You can also reach out to someone in your network and share an inspirational story.

Thanksgiving

In celebration of Thanksgiving, post a festive image or simply wish your audience a “Happy Thanksgiving!” This will help your pharmacy stay top of mind with your audience and establish an important personal connection.
