Former Bank Building Creates a Window of Opportunity for Ohio Pharmacy

Founded in 1978 and serving Canal Fulton, Ohio and its surrounding areas, Heritage Square Pharmacy is rich with history and has a strong commitment to serving patients.

Current owner and pharmacist, Mark Schuller, joined the staff in 1984 and has worked hard to meet their patients’ healthcare needs. “Our commitment to service for the community extends far beyond the pharmacy walls, as we sponsor local sports teams, donate to charitable organizations, and cultivate an environment in which both staff and patients are seen as family.”

For years Mark received feedback from patients that they would like the convenience of a drive-thru window but the current building was not set up for one. So when a nearby former bank building became available that already had a drive-thru window he jumped on it and started plans to move the pharmacy.

In January 2010, Heritage Square Pharmacy re-opened the pharmacy at the new location with the drive-thru window and their patients love it. As Mark says, “They appreciate the convenience of refilling their prescriptions without having to take a single step outside of their cars”

Heritage Square Pharmacy’s partnership with RxWiki has proven to be a perfect fit, as Mark describes, “We’ve made copies of flyers and posted on Facebook to help with promoting the mobile app, and we’ve even put a decal in that same drive-thru window!”

Mark is looking forward to the future as a member of the Digital Pharmacist network. “Our customer service is a huge asset, and our ability to change with the times and leverage new technology to deliver convenience and service helps us stay one step ahead.”
